108: Culture eats strategy for breakfast (Rethinking strategy - part 4)

In my fourth and final episode of the mini-series Rethinking strategy, I work with you to appreciate how culture and strategy are best considered simultaneously for impressive results.

There are differing views on whether the phrase, "Culture eats strategy for breakfast," was coined by Peter Drucker, the management consultant and academic author. However, there is widespread consensus that organisational culture influences the success of strategy implementation.

How important do you think it is to define and understand your own organisation’s culture?

I discuss in my latest podcast episode how culture and strategy need to nurture each other and help point your organisation in the same direction.
